:- 1.0 out of 5 stars from My thoughts.. -- While the original novel is an excellent book this particular Kindle version is atrocious : While the original novel is an excellent book this particular Kindle version is atrocious. It butchers the flowing language of the original. Reading this version is like translating from a different language. For example the version uses "used to be" in place of "was", "inexperienced" instead of "green", "inspiration" in place of "idea" and "enjoyment instead of "fun." For example the sentence " I had an idea that it might be fun to walk up to Green Gables, so I walked up there." Would read, " I inspirations enjoyment to used to be walking up to inexperienced Gables, so I used to be walking up there. There are many more egregious errors including the conversion of "book" to "ebook" and "games" to video games. The "look inside" peek at this version does not match what is delivered to your kindle. Don't buy this version... there are other kindle versions which are much better. ( Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2017 )
